Nero's Conquest
Three Year Old Gelding
Nero (Friesian Stallion) x Cheyenne (registered Paint mare)

The first picture we ever saw of this little colt was from right after he was born. Everyone was affectionately calling him ‘Connor the Knot’ because he hadn’t quite gotten himself untangled yet. When he was about a month old, Allison decided to purchase him for a future eventing prospect. As much as we knew we wanted purebred Friesiains, two things decided us. First, we knew that we simply couldn’t afford a Friesian just yet. And second, the amount of jumping required by an eventing horse would simply be too hard on the heavier Friesians.
As it turns out, this boy is just far too talented to be wasted on the amount of riding that any of us get to do. He is athletic and willing. He moves like a dream, with extension to die for. He simply floats, without even trying. Connor will make a spectacular jumper, dressage competitor, or pretty much anything else. He is wonderufl with kids and would be a perfect mount for a young rider wanting to compete.
Connor has been started lightly under saddle. He is already proving all of our hopes for him were well founded - he learns quickly, he is incredibly willing, and very level headed. He has already been out on trails, had motorbikes go flying by him, and he didn't even flinch. He is going well at walk and trot, and we have begun some free jumping. He is currently around 15.3 hands and still has a bit of growing to do, as well as a lot of filling out. We expect him to finish at a well built 16 hands.
Connor is for sale for $8000 US.
